Sparkle - Creative Kids Online Workshop

Sparkle Workshop – Create a Night Sky inspired by Chris Martin

These classes draw on inspiration from the works of Chris Martin with a focus on his use of glitter against dark backgrounds to create shimmering surfaces. Students will create their own Martin inspired artwork across 2 lessons. Through the creation of their multi-media Night Sky artwork, students will gain an understanding of the uses of many art materials and how they can be used to create a complex artwork.

Workshop Times

1 hour classes are conducted via Google Meet.  Detailed information on class sign in and requirements to follow after enrolment.

Materials

 You can BYO your own materials or purchase some from our shop.

This class requires the following materials:

Anything that sparkles! If it is metallic or glittery, we can make it work!

Metallic acrylic paints - Minimum of 6 colours (White & black for mixing are recommended)

Paint brushes in varying sizes & shapes

Black paper - A4 size (This item is important)

Glitter

Metallic pencils or glitter pens

Paper plate or paint palette for mixing

1. Get your Creative Kids voucher from Service NSW https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-creative-kids-voucher
2. Pick any of our Creative Kids workshops
3. Enter your voucher information on the product page (Name as it appears on voucher, date of birth, voucher number)
4. Your order will be finalised upon authorisation of the Creative Kids voucher
